As part of a major programme of upgrade works, the Luton DART (Direct Air-Rail Transit) is designed to transport passengers from Luton Parkway Station to Luton Airport terminal in under 4 minutes. The £225m 24/7 transit system is scheduled to open in 2021 using a state of the art, fully automated people-mover.
