Coded Pipe Welder – Industrial New Build Project

Hours:11 Day Fortnight | 10 Hours Per Day
Rates:Paid in line with Blue Book Agreement

Our client is currently seeking experienced Coded Pipe Welders for a major industrial new build project based in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a large-scale industrial development, offering consistent hours and competitive Blue Book rates.

Responsibilities

  • Welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipework to project specifications

  • Working from isometric drawings, weld maps, and fabrication drawings

  • Carrying out high-quality TIG and MMA welding on industrial pipe systems

  • Ensuring all welds meet project quality requirements and relevant industry standards

  • Completing welds in various positions and configurations

  • Working closely with pipefitters, supervisors, and QA/QC personnel

  • Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment in line with site procedures

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Welding, Fabrication & Welding, or equivalent qualification

  • Valid CCNSG Safety Passport / ACE Card

  • Current coding certificates relevant to industrial pipe welding - beneficial

  • Proven experience welding carbon steel and/or stainless steel pipework on industrial projects

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and weld procedures

  • Strong understanding of site health & safety requirements
