Coded Pipe Welder – Industrial New Build Project

Duration:6-9 month contract
Hours:11 Day Fortnight | 10 Hours Per Day
Rates:Paid in line with Blue Book Agreement
Basic Pay: £23.45 per hour + £2.83 per hour holiday pay - £26.28 per hour
OT1: £32.83 per hour
OT2: £42.21 per hour
Accommodation: £53.39 per day or hotel provided
Bonus: £2.37 per hour

Our client is currently seeking experienced Coded Pipe Welders for a major industrial new build project based in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a large-scale industrial development, offering consistent hours and competitive Blue Book rates.
Responsibilities
Welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipework to project specifications
Working from isometric drawings, weld maps, and fabrication drawings
Carrying out high-quality TIG and MMA welding on industrial pipe systems
Ensuring all welds meet project quality requirements and relevant industry standards
Completing welds in various positions and configurations
Working closely with pipefitters, supervisors, and QA/QC personnel
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment in line with site procedures
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Welding, Fabrication & Welding, or equivalent qualification
Valid CCNSG Safety Passport / ACE Card
Current coding certificates relevant to industrial pipe welding - beneficial
Proven experience welding carbon steel and/or stainless steel pipework on industrial projects
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and weld procedures
Strong understanding of site health & safety requirements
