Discipline: Construction Manager (E&I)
Location: North East (Teesside)
Contract: 9-12 Months
Start Date: September
The Role
Overall responsibility for the safe execution of project and site/construction implementation
Managing:
* Construction implementation in full compliance with Safety, Cost and Schedule, QA & QC etc.
* Pre-Construction Planning, Procurement and Execution strategy along with the manpower and resources planning and mobilisation allocation
* Managing the Procurement, Tender Evaluation and Selection of sub-contractors and follow thru the implementation, forecasting and contract closeout
* The QA Procedure and QC Compliance in implementation
* Procurement, especially long lead items as well as bulk materials procurement and timely delivery
Ensure the full implementation of Safety Procedures and Requirement
Driving a Construction & Commissioning project strategy
Required:
Electrical trade background and proven management record
Co-ordination and management of multiple disciplines
Strong commercial knowledge and experience handling disputes
Experience of safety legislations and requirements
Assisting in prelims, estimation, constructability review and budget proposals
Managing the earlier procurement of the packages to fast track the progress
