The Role:

Our client is currently recruiting for additional Electricians to join their teams on a major construction project on Hinkley Point C. Their scope of work includes the installation, operations, maintenance and fault finding of utilities systems including the clients potable supply network, water management network, sewerage network, sewage treatment assets and communications. Duties will include:

  • Installation, maintenance and repair of the electrical assets and instrumentation for the dewatering network, treatment and all associated assets serving Hinkley Point C

  • Maintaining a level of 100% environmental permit compliance, zero serious pollution incidents, within contractual budgetary controls and with adherence to set KPIs.

  • Managing interfaces with other departments, building relationships and getting fast resolution of any issues

  • The potential of additional emergency call-out work

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification

CompEx training

H&S training and field practice SSSTS/IOSH, CSCS, Confined Spaces

Experience in the water industry

Good process knowledge in water and waste treatment

Strong communication and team skills

Ability to manage own workload while maintaining excellent health and safety standards
