Discipline: Electrician
Location: Nottingham & locations nationwide
Rate of Pay: £17.90-21.90/hr PAYE + expenses + travel + lodge
Hours: 50hrs/week Mon-Fri
Start date: Immediate
Duration: 12 weeks
The Role:
Following recent contract wins, our client has an immediate requirement for an additional Electrician to join their team and to work on sites throughout the UK. Duties will include:
Installation, testing, fault finding and maintenance of all HV and LV equipment, panels, motors and control equipment.
Selection and installation of cable handling
Safe working knowledge and implementation of permit to work systems
Work under supervision and direction of SAP and AP
Working in accordance with all health and safety requirements and site rules
Understand and assist in creating CPP/RAMS for projects
Working away on sites around the UK Mon-Fri, with overnight allowance, travel, lodge etc being provided
There will be opportunities for permanent roles with the company to follow the contract period.
Requirements:
CSCS JIB card
Electrical Apprenticeship or level 3 Electrical qualification
Confined Space Entry certificate (medium risk / level 2)
2391 test and inspection (desirable)
First Aid certificate (desirable)
SMSTS certificate (desirable)
IOSH (desirable)
HV qualified, assessed and trained (desirable)
Willing to travel and work nationwide
