Job Title: Global HSE Manager

Hours: 37.5 hours per week + Overtime

Salary: £40-60,000 per annum, depending on experience + benefits and expenses

Location: Scunthorpe based with travel nationwide and overseas

Job Role:

Integrate Engineering Resources is recruiting for an HSE Manager on behalf of our client, a market leader in the industrial services sector, to be based from Scunthorpe and will involve travel to sites nationwide and overseas. The role will include responsibility for developing and implementing organisational safety programs, reviewing and updating company HSE policies and conducting risk assessments to detect potential hazards and plan precautionary measures.

Typical duties generally include:

-Supporting the Management in the HSE Policy and Guidelines issue, Organization roles and responsibilities concerning safety aspects and HSE Management System.

-Implementing, updating, reviewing and auditing of the company HSE Systems.

-Monitoring the effective implementation of appropriate Health, Safety and Environment system procedures and updating in line with changes in legislation and company directives.

-Assisting the Commercial, Engineering and Operations Department in their dealings with clients in all issues concerned with Health and Safety at work.

-Conducting safety audits both internal and external.

-Taking part in accident / incident investigation.

-Carrying out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans.

-Providing technical support to Senior Management on any safety related subjects.

-Carrying out any in-house safety training.

-Carrying out safety audits on Sub-contractors.

-Liaising between Clients on safety related issues.

-Participating to HAZOP meetings prior to procurement and installation activities.

-Performing Risk Assessments.

-Preparation of Health and Safety documentation for new tenders.

-Providing Safety support and advice, including supervision on preparation of plans and procedures for initial contract start up activities.

-On occasion, meeting with Customers for work scope preparation or to gather all information for bid preparing purposes.

-On occasion, assisting with Field Operations and carry out on-site training and Job Management assistance.

Requirements:

Minimum NEBOSH certificate

Teacher/Training experience

ISO Auditing experience

Good communication skills

Incident investigation experience

Knowledge of UK HSE legislation

UK full driving license

Strong organisational, communication and teamwork skills
