Discipline: HV Electrician/Wireman
Location: Sheffield/Manchester
Rate: PAYE £22.18 + £2.67 Holiday pay per hour
Duration: 6 months
Hours: 50 hours per week/ OT available once proven
The Role
Our client is one of the largest organisations operating within the mechanical and electrical sectors nationwide. As a result of numerous large contracts, they are now searching for 3 additional Electricians with experience of wiring, working out of a sub power station based in Sheffield and Manchester the candidate will need the following:
A recognised craft/Technical apprenticeship
ONC/ BTEC in electrical engineering
Knowledge and working experience of wiring regulations
Extensive experience of working on high voltage plant, switchgear, transformers and associated auxiliary equipment.
Excellent knowledge of working practices, techniques, procedures and tool usage
Training in health, safety and environmental issues
The ability to read and work from drawings.
