Duration: Permanent

Shifts: Approx 45-50hrs/week

Pay Rates: £35,000-50,000 per annum + expenses + van

 

The Role:

 

Integrate Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor on behalf of our client, a market leader in mechanical installation and maintenance works on industrial sites. The work will include:

 

  • Co-ordination of mechanical installation and maintenance of mechanical components and supporting steelwork

  • Supervising a mechanical team and ensuring that health and safety is being adhered to at all times

  • Conducting toolbox talks, ordering materials, completing schedules of work, scheduling materials to ensure programme of works delivered.

  • Liaise with Managers on a regular basis, reporting on any and all works conducted on site.

  • Managing variations.

  • Ensuring the quality of the installation was of a high standard.

  • Carrying out site surveys.

  • Ensuring the installation was snag free.

  • Paperwork management; RFI's, method statements, risk assessments, permits to work, site diaries, progress reports.

 

Requirements:

 

  • City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Fitting

  • CSCS / CCNSG

  • SSSTS / SMSTS

  • Good literacy skills

  • Previous experience in a supervisory / management role

  • Previous experience of working on industrial installation and maintenance projects
