PAYE Rate:    £30 per hour including holiday pay  + Lodge Allowance

The Company:

One of the worlds key turbine installation and maintenance organisations, operating within the Power and Nuclear sectors throughout the UK, Europe and Worldwide.

The Role:

Our client is searching for 2 x Quality Engineers to join their team at the Isle of Grain, one will be specifically integrated to manage or quality documentation related to the maintenance project.  The other will be involved in all aspects of Welding, monitoring weld book, quality of products, welds and progress.


  • Support the Quality Manager for implementation of this PQP;

  • Supervise the proper preparation of Inspection and Test reports, ensuring the compliance with the QCPs/ITPs;

  • Interface the owner on the QA/QC aspects of the site and attend owners Project Coordination Meeting;

  • Verify that the measuring equipment endowment to the site, including those used by subcontractors, has been calibrated before the expiring date and before their use;

  • Verify that NDT and Welding Personnel operating on Site are provided of documents attesting their qualification;

  • Manage the NDT Personnel interventions on the basis of the applicable Inspection and Test Plan;

  • Verify that as a consequence of the inspection, measuring and test activities performed the documentation of the quality record is issued;

  • Compose, in collaboration with Assessment Engineer/Technical Project manager/Fact Finder/Fleet Engineer, the final dossiers meeting the quality records foreseen by Inspection and Test Plan.
