PAYE Rate:
1st 40 Hours Mon-Fri: £24.93 per hour + £3.00 Hol Pay - £27.93 per hour
Over 40 Hours Mon-Fri & Sat All Hrs: £30.86 per hour + £3.72 hol pay - £34.58 per hour
Job Description:
Integrate Resources Group is looking for a Welders Mate to assist in the fabrication, burning and assisting welders of large-scale structures in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to work on a prestigious industrial project, supporting skilled welders in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting welders with the preparation and setup of materials.
Handling and positioning steel components for welding.
Using hand and power tools to cut, grind, and prepare surfaces.
Ensuring work areas are kept safe and tidy.
Following site safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
CSCS card
Previous experience as a Welders Mate or similar role.
Use of a grinder - Abrasive Wheels Training would be ideal
Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings (preferred).
Good awareness of health & safety practices.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
