Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Location: Cheshire - Protos Park EfW

Start Date: Monday 11th March

Contract details: 6 months initial contract - 10 hours per day Monday to Friday & 8 hours weekend

Rate: £22.50 per hour M-F & £26.00 per hour weekends

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team for a new build industrial project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing containment, cable trays, conduits, and ladder racking for instruments and cabinets in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment on the industrial site.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

  • Install, inspect, and test electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring they meet project requirements and applicable codes.

  • Install containment, cable trays, conduits, and ladder racking for instruments and cabinets as per project specifications.

  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems.

  • Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure project deadlines are met and work is completed efficiently.

  • Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

  • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role in an industrial setting.

  • CSCS/ECS Card - 18th Edition

  • IPAF

  • Working at Heights - online course can be used

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.

  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.
