Position: Industrial Services Operative
Location: Newport, South Wales
Start date: Immediate
Duration: Permanent
Shifts: 8-12hr shifts, Mon-Sun
Pay Rates: £10.00-20.00/hr PAYE + expenses and lodge provided when working away
The Role:
Due to recent contract wins, our client is looking to recruit an additional 3 Industrial Services Operatives based from Newport, South Wales. The role will be varied, across a variety of industries and sites and will include excellent opportunities for overtime, especially with sites may be away from home, and progression within a leading company in the industrial services sector. Duties will include:
· General site cleaning and vacuuming
· Schedules plant cleaning, repairs and maintenance during shutdowns
· Pollution control and spill response
· Confined space operations (training can be given)
· Comply with safety, security instructions and health and safety guidelines
· Work under own initiative and maintain good timekeeping
· Driving van and trailer (over 3.5 tonnes combined - Cat B+E licence required)
Requirements:
· CCNSG card
· Industrial cleaning experience
· Confined Space Entry certificate (desirable)
· WJA or HPWJ trained with valid certification (desirable)
· Full UK driving license (desirable)
· Flexibility and willingness to work unsociable hours, and work away from at times
