Position: M&E Estimator
Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £35,000 - 40,000 per annum, depending on experience
Start date: Immediate
Duration: Permanent
The Role:
Integrate Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for an M&E Estimator on behalf of our client, a market leader in the water treatment and environment agencies sectors. The role will involve working with and internal departments, customers and suppliers to cost projects which meet technical and commercial requirements. Duties and responsibilities will include:
•Extract information from client enquiry documentation and internal and external stakeholders
•Liaising with other departments and the supply chain to gather all the necessary information to write compelling bid responses
•Producing accurate quotations that include materials, margins, labour and other associated costs, and well written proposals that include information on all technical aspects of the equipment
•Follow up on client queries to secure orders
•Following contract win, participating in launch meetings with the project delivery staff and offering support to the Project Manager during early stages of the project
Requirements:
•Mechanical / Electrical or Civil Engineering qualification is desirable
•Good knowledge of the water treatment sector
•Highly organized and an excellent communicator, with the ability to write accurate and concise reports and proposals
•IT skills - excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office / Microsoft Project.
•Excellent writing, editing skills and presentation skills
•Excellent time management and organisational skills
•Ability to work in a targeted deadline driven environment and work well under pressure
