The Role:

 

Our client has a requirement for additional Mechanical Fitters on a power generation site in Ratcliffe-on-Soar, Nottinghamshire. The role will involve the maintenance of materials handling equipment on site including pumps, motors, conveyors, bearings and gearboxes on site. Duties will include:

• Carrying out examinations and inspections of all mechanical equipment, plant, machinery etc

• Carrying out planned maintenance as per schedules and repairs where necessary

• Operating FLT’s and site vehicles in accordance with training and H&S requirements

• Ensuring all H&S measures are in place and completed, such as hazard reports and SBSU conversations

• Operating workshop equipment and tools

• Undertaking training as and when required to allow for full flexibility

• Being available for call outs as part of a call out rota.

 

Essential Requirements:

 

• CCNSG card

• Mechanical Apprenticeship or similar training experience

 

Desirable Requirements:

 

• FLT license

• CPCS card

• Fabrication / welding experience
