Discipline: Mechanical Supervisor
Location: Slough, Berkshire
Salary: £40-45,000 per annum
Hours: Approx 45hrs/week Mon-Fri
Start date: June 2022
Duration: Permanent
The Role:
Due to recent project wins, our client is currently hiring for a Mechanical Supervisor for a data centre site near Slough. The project will involve the installation of chiller water and condenser pipework and duties will include:
Supervising the mechanical teams from installation to commissioning and handover
Completing schedule of works issued in agreed timeframe
Being responsible for the day to day workload and site based activities including tooling, paperwork, time management and staffing
Managing inductions and toolbox talks
Ensuring all health and safety policies and quality standards are being adhered to
Attending site meetings
At times, assisting with the hands-on mechanical installation of pipework
Requirements:
• An industry relevant City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or above
• SSSTS
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a full-time Supervisor
• Ability to influence and drive positive attitudes and behaviours with regards to site Health and Safety
• IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
• First Aid qualification
• Essential knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements and mechanical safe systems of work
