Job Title: Pipefitter Ductwork & Air Conditioning

About the Role

We are seeking skilled and experienced Pipefitters to join our team working on ductwork and air conditioning systems. The role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of pipework and associated components to ensure high-quality and safe project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, assemble, and fit ductwork and air conditioning systems according to technical drawings and specifications.

  • Work with stainless steel pipework, including cutting, threading, bending, and welding/fabrication where required.

  • Fit and secure flanges, gaskets, and other fittings to ensure leak-free connections.

  • Use angle grinders, saws, and other power tools safely and effectively to prepare and finish pipework.

  • Carry out inspections, testing, and troubleshooting on installed systems.

  • Adhere to health & safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on site to deliver projects to schedule.

Skills & Experience Required

  • NVQ Level 3 pipefitter

  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter within ductwork and/or air conditioning projects.

  • Strong knowledge of stainless steel pipework installation and associated tools.

  • Hands-on experience with flanges, gaskets, and pressure testing.

  • Confident in the safe use of angle grinders and other cutting/finishing tools.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

  • Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.

  • Valid CSCS or equivalent card (preferred).

  • Relevant trade qualifications or apprenticeships (advantageous).
