Discipline: Welding Supervisor - QA/QC Manager
Location: Isle of Grain
Start Date: Immediate
Rate of Pay: £300 - £350 per day + £70.00 per day lodge allowance
Hours: Monday to Sunday - 12/2 working rotation
Duration: 6 Months
The Role:
Integrate Engineering Resources are recruiting for a Welding Supervisor - QA/QC Manager on behalf of our client on a large industrial site at the Isle of Grain. The project will involve monitoring quality of welds on a large scale project and the role will involve ensuring that the quality of materials and work methods are in line with guidelines and standards. Duties will include:
Upkeep of welding stores and equipment (Inc populating requisitions)
Supervision of the welding and plating works
Ensuring operatives are signing in and out of the work area and accurate time keeping
Ensuring welding QA is carried out and works in accordance with the PQRs and WPSs
Liaise with client QA team and host walk rounds, inspections ect
Ensuring health and safety in work areas
Ensuring good housekeeping and work areas are free of hazard
Requirements:
CSCS / CCNSG card
CSWIP 3.2
SMSTS preferred
