Role:

Integrate Engineering Resources is currently recruiting a Graduate / Junior HSE Advisor for a permanent role based from Barnsley and working on sites nationwide. The position is an excellent opportunity for someone newly qualified who is looking to develop and build their career with a market leading in heavy industrial construction, operations and maintenance sectors. The role will involve ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a proactive safety culture, ensuring the project meets legal obligations, and safeguarding the health and safety of all involved on site. Duties will include:

-Supporting policies: Help develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures.

-Conducting inspections and audits: Perform regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance and identify hazards.

-Risk assessments: Assist in conducting risk assessments for different work activities.

-Incident investigation: Help investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and maintain accurate records.

-Training and communication: Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and safety inductions, and help prepare safety communications.

-Reporting: Ensure accurate HSE reporting and maintain registers of inspections, incidents, and training records.

-Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and keep updated on any changes in laws.

Requirements :

  • NEBOSH National General Certificate (or equivalent) essential.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Experience in a safety-focused role

  • Skills: Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with common HSE concepts, practices, and regulations

  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work under supervision

  • Full UK Driving license
