Position: Plater / Welder
Location: Cauldon, Stoke on Trent
Start date: Immediate
Duration: 6-8 weeks
Shifts: 50-66hrs/week
Pay Rates: £18.00-30.00/hr
The Role:
Integrate Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for Platers / Welders for maintenance work on a cement plant. Duties will include:
- Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
- Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
- Repairing heat distorted steel plate
- Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs
- MMA welding on pipe, plate and brackets
Requirements:
• CCNSG card
• NVQ 3 or equivalent trade qualification
• Confined Space certificate an advantage
• Previous experience in the heavy engineering industry; Cement, Power, O&G, Petrochemical, Renewables etc.
