Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Thermal Insulation Supervisor for an immediate start on a site in Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising insulation operatives on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a hands-on supervisory role requiring strong technical knowledge of thermal insulation systems and excellent leadership on active construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate thermal insulation operatives on site

  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and project requirements

  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance at all times

  • Conduct toolbox talks and daily briefings

  • Liaise with site management, contractors, and other trades

  • Monitor productivity and quality of workmanship

  • Ensure materials and equipment are available and used correctly

  • Identify and resolve site issues promptly

  • Complete site documentation, reports, and progress updates

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Thermal Insulation Supervisor or Senior Insulator

  • Strong knowledge of thermal insulation systems (industrial and/or commercial)

  • Valid CSCS card (Supervisor level preferred)

  • SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred)

  • Good understanding of UK health & safety regulations

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Willingness to work on site in Scotland (with immediate availability)
